In this view I'm standing up above the patio area, looking down on the shrimp sculpture and the hot tub. We did use the hot tub when it got dark and by the then the sky had cleared so we could see the stars very plainly. Some great shooting stars performed for us too.

October 17th, Day 1, Fifth blog entry
Now that we've had our fill of oysters on the beach, it's time to climb the ladder, I mean steps, back up to the "cabin". That's what Kirk calls it, but it's really a very nice house and even with 8 of us staying there, it did not feel crowded.
I had to stop and rest on the first landing and took this picture back to the deck to show how steep it is. By the time we got to the top I was breathing hard.
This is a device used to haul up the buckets of clams and oysters when you have too many to carry. I wonder if it could have hauled me up?
This is a neat metal sculpture that was on the patio. The shrimps both move when the wind blows. They stand about as tall as I do. I thought they were neat.
